Foobnix a music player for Android is Released!

If you havent heard then Foobnix is an excellent, cross-platform music player that can be used on GNU/Linux, MS Windows and Mac OSX in the past. But the latest news is that now the developer has released it for Android too!.

So if youre using Android and would like to have a powerful local and online music player (its famous for that) that has a simple GUI and loads fast... then you should check out the Foobnix in this Android market page.

Although it has been like 2/3 weeks since its official Android release, but its a bit new thus there could be bugs but from the user ratings... I think its already a "hit"! nonetheless.

Main features...

*. Its completely free and not free like with filled with Ads ... no ads... nothing, nada, free as in freedom :D.

*. Last.fm and VK integration, so you can easily share and listen to music all day long.

*. Playlist support with play similar songs, search for files (+ including tags), etc or find songs using online source by genre, artists, name...

*. Fetch album art/covers from Last.fm.

*. Create and delete music folders.

*. Separate download manager.

*. Lyrics support.

*. Super fast updates (bug fixes and new features).

As said its totally free of charge and requires you to have A Android version of 1.6 or higher to use it. You can learn more about recent updates and news from this official Foobnix android page as well.

Facebook Messenger For Windows Released – Download Now! Mac Client Coming Soon!

Facebook Messenger Desktop Client Now Available for Windows Users.

Facebook just released its desktop client for Facebook Messenger. It’s currently only available for Windows users, although the company confirmed that a Mac-friendly version is on its way, too.

The app allows you to:
  • Chat and message with your friends on Facebook
  • See the latest updates from your friends in ticker
  • Get quick notifications about what’s going on
I personally don’t use Facebook Messenger for much at all (and I’m on a Mac), but this will no doubt be welcome to those who use the social network to stay in touch with their friends on a day-to-day basis. The tabbed chat boxes also looks particularly useful. Facebook Chat for Windows is available now for free.

With users already spending a record breaking amount of time on Facebook, the creation and release of dedicated chat clients which allow the use of core features will no doubt go some way to increasing that active time.

You can download Facebook Messenger for Windows by heading over to this link.
Download Facebook Messenger for Windows 7.

If you use Facebook mobile
on your device, you might be a frequent user of its messaging service. If so, you might become the newest fan of Facebook’s just-released standalone messaging app for both Android and iPhone.

Previously, Facebook would only offer an all-in-one client for both of those platforms, yet instant messaging was only a small section within it. A standalone Facebook Chat app turns a rather neglected feature such as Facebook Chat into one of the website’s most prominent, which is in line with the company’s recent moves to greatly enhance the service.

You can get Facebook Messenger today from both the Android Market and the iOS App Store.
